In July of 1986, Dr. G. David Gass joined the practice. Dr. Gass completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at The University of South Carolina Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina. Dr. Gass is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care.
Dr. David I Jones joined Dr. Gass and the group in 1988. His pulmonary and critical care fellowship was completed at The University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, OK. Dr. Jones is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
Dr. Jeff W. Fidone came to Tyler in 1994 upon completion of his fellowship in pulmonary/critical care from Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. Dr. Fidone is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
In 1999, Dr. Raymond C. Perkins joined the pulmonary group. Dr. Perkins received his medical degree and also his internship and fellowship at The University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine.
Dr. Alan Q. Thomas became a part of the group in 2003. He completed his training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care. Dr. Thomas is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care.
Dr. Luis Destarac became part of Pulmonary Specialists in 2003. He completed his pulmonary and allergy fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Destarac is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary. He is also specializes in allergy.
Pulmonary Specialists was happy to announce the association of Dr. Michael J. Raggio in 2004. Dr. Raggio completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Raggio is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical care.
